Not sure if I'll continue into the serious part of the competition. I was rather soured last year.

I didn't watch the first two seasons because the concept sounded kind of hokey to me. The third season, I accidentally caught the last ten minutes of the first night of auditions, and that did it -- I was hooked. I love it. And I'm still completely bummed that my boy Bo didn't win!

I did watch the last seasons tryouts..man, there are some PRETTY bad performances done! :silly: I can't help but sit there and laugh through some of them. Although they do have alot of guts, I don't think I could do it! I would be a wreck knowing Simon was going to put me through the shredder.

It doesn't take much for me to get hooked to "American Idol" I love this show :worthy:! I was one of the many not happy :disbeliefabout Chris leaving the show, but oh well I'll buy his album, he'll be successful and everything will be okay :). I'm not sure what I thought of Taylor winning. He's a great guy and a good entertainer plus he had the most votes so I guess he deserved to win. Anyway, that's my 2 cents :D.

I loved the last American Idol. Mr. Soul patrol won and he deserves it! I love Chris too and he deserves to win as well but because he didn't get the votes in his favor that night then he was sent home.

I have enjoyed watching American Idol. I think the last season that I have watched wherein Mr. Soul had won is topping my list. I really like the young black girl but unfortunately the votes were not in her favor. If I remember correctly her name is Paris, she's really good and so young maybe she gets to have the chance for her star to shine in some other time.

Ryan Seacrest has been giving a few hints about Season 5's tryouts. That they are even worse that the previous years. I can't wait to see the auditions. I think that they are the best part.

I'm also a big fan of the auditions. What is it about our fascination with other people's humiliation? *LOL* Honestly though, they can't all think they're really that good.

But that's neither here nor there...I'll for sure be watching when the new season gears up, although I don't know if I'll keep watching through the competition. I was a little disappointed with the way things turned out last year.

I'm an American Idol freak! I watched all the seasons except Season 1. It wasn't shown here in our country. I watched the reruns because I think Kelly Clarkson is the bomb! Season 5 is my favorite season. I absolutely love Ms. Katharine McPhee. I know...many people hate her but a lot of people love her too. She's a polarizing person. :D I can't wait for her debut album.
