As if his stupid "War on Christmas" wasn't enough to indict him as an idiot, O'Reilly's on this campaign to demonstrate that the ideal parents are a man and a woman. He hasn't got the coyones to copme right out and say that gay couples should not adopt children, but let's waste our time and energy concerning ourselves with the "fact" that some unfortunate children are stuck in non-ideal circumstances, having two male or two female parents.

No point wasting our energy dealing with the fact that there are much worse circumstances such as: really stupid heterosexual parents, multiple mothers and a selfish, usury, insecure, abusive father (read polygamist), being a ward of the state, having Bill as a parent, etc, etc. BOR admits that good homosexual parents are better than no parents or bad heterosexual parents. So why even talk about it? I guess he just wants to make sure that we look down on gays as being "unnatural".

I guess Bill thinks that diversity improves parenting. Children should have the benefit of having parents with different skills, viewpoints, etc. So the ideal combination may be a liberal and a conservative; a homosexual and a heterosexual, a White person and a Black person, a smart person and a stupid person, a good person and a bad person... maybe a black, heterosexual, intellegent, evil mother and a white, gay, stupid, moral father would be perfect.

Bill says "you're taking Mother Nature and you're throwing it right out the window, and I just think it's crazy..." Firstly, "I just think..." is not an argument, it's a directive to think as I do lest you make me uncomfortable. So it commands absolutely no respect. As for Nature, Bill drives, cuts his hair, uses a loofah and falafel for sex, so much for his respect for Nature. Meanwhile, Nature allows for teen pregnancy, multiple partners and free speech. How about some consistency, Bill?

In summary, Bill is a divisive elitist, creating an UNNATURAL chasm between the imaginary "traditionalists and secular-progressives". Typical Fascist mentality. Declare a group of people to be the cause of all of our problems... then what? The worst of the fascists set out to kill the interlopers, the more "liberal" fascists attempt to shame or ostracize them. Yes, this planet would be perfect without all the "secular-progressives" messing up Bill's perfect 1950's world. Oh wait, what about Al-Qaeda, they're not SP's, are they? OK, so we must get rid of the SP's, the radical muslims, the commies and Rosie O'Donnell. Then everything will be just right. Yeah, that's it!

I totally agree with you Wiley but a quick question what was the war on Christmas... I missed that one.

Bill's been on his "War on Christmas" campaign for a few years now. Some stores are telling their employees to say, "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas. Bill doesn't like that, in spite of the fact that it's more polite to use a generic greeting if one does not know the religion/culture of the recipient. I even remember the nuns telling us that back in grade school.

BOR also claims that the main reason that stores are acquiescing is because of pressure from the ACLU, the most dangerous organization in the U.S., according Factor. I have never seen the ACLU get involved in First Amendment issues against a private individual or organization. Apparently, they understand that the First Amendment restricts governmental powers, not personal. Unlike O'Reilly, who seems to think that it protects any speach that he approves of.

Bill seems to think that anyone who celebrates Chanukah, Kwaanza (whatever that is), Pagan Sun God rituals or nothing are out to destroy Christmas. Same logic that his apparent hero, Dubya, used when declaring that anyone not with us is against us.

I know more happier gay couples than I do straight couples, and I agree that there are children out there, some even still living with both of their natural parents, that are in abusive or poor living situations. I don't think the sexuality of the parents should matter, if the person or persons can provide a good living arrangement and better quality of life for the child.

I know; it's ridiculously frustrating. How can he turn a blind eye to the damage that ANY parent can do to their children? Abuse lasts a lifetime.
