I know that I can't be the only one who actually enjoys some of the television commercials out there. I know that there are entire forums devoted to them, and that the Geico Gecko gets a lot of fan mail..

so - is there a tv ad that makes you smile whenever you see it? Giggle out loud? My own two favorites...

The Starbucks Doubleshot commercial with the 'I will make today the day - tell success I'm on my way' chant. Always lifts up my confidence, and I run around humming 'who da man? You da man!' for the next half hour..

and the car ad (is it a good ad if you don't remember the product?) where the woman is picking up her dry cleaning, and pays for the shirts of the guy in the car behind her at the drive up and hands the attendant her card to give the guy.

I love the dry cleaning one. There is a new one out that makes me laugh and I can't for the life of me remember what they are advertising. Its a teen with the baggy pants and he is acting all cool at the mall. He jumps on the escalator and the bottom of his pants catch and off they come. I laughed so loud all the kids came running the first time I saw it. Now if they see the beginning of it they call me to go and watch. LOL

I also like the commercials David Spade does for the credit card company. "No, no, no"

[Whirling Dervish]

Can't remember which auto company does it, but they show a car flying through the air and landing on a heap of other cars. THen you see a guy at the drawing table drumpling up a piece of paper--and another car flying through the air.

I love that one!

And of course, don't forget Super Bowl Sunday ads!

I love the David Spade spots for Capital One!!! They also make me laugh.
Those and the Office Max ones with Rubberband Man. That song is so great!

A majority of the time I mute the commercials, but for some reason I love the commercials with the NASCAR drivers in them. Those guys are really cute, looks and personalities. They make me giggle.

I'm the same, but when I think about it, it's interesting which ones will hold my interest enough that I don't mute them! Silly stuff sometimes!
