If so, the verdict has been reached, and will be announced at 2:15PM EDT!!
I'm listening and will post when the verdict comes in.

I wish we were broadcasting, this would be a good one for a call-in topic.

For those who also followed Betty Broderick, this one is really reminiscent!

My verdict? Guilty, 1st degree

My prediction: No clue, I didn't follow the trial....but twist my arm, I'll say Guilty, 1st degree.

Two of her sons testified that she'd been threatening to kill her husband for a long time, and she behaved like a jerk while defending herself. I don't think the jury will like her.

But again, I didn't follow the trial blow by blow, so I could be off base.

Running to turn on CTV, I say guilty too. I heard towards the end she really started coming apart. I wish it was shown live, I haven't seen a good freak show in a while:disbelief

I've beeng watching Catherine Crier's coverage of the case during jury watch for the past few days. It was interesting to hear from the two sons who have never spoken publicly before.
They seemed reasonable and accurate in their evaluation of their mother to me.

I know people like Susan and Betty Broderick, and I'm glad to know that two of her kids seem to have survived anyway. The third son, who echoes his mother's claims is in prison for something, I'm not sure what. That speaks volumes to me about the dangers of buying into the delusions and machinations of a sociopath. And I do see that Susan Polk is another one of those.

Oh well, any minute now...waiting with baited breath!! :woohoo:
