I really like the reality show Amazing Race for two reasons. One is because I love to see the places they go and the experiences they are privileged to have. Secondly, I enjoy seeing how the couples work together or fail to work together. Traveling with another person can be difficult, and that part is interesting to watch.

Reality show junkie that I am, I've resisted watching the Amazing Race and I'm not sure why. I really enjoyed Treasure Hunters, except for the unexciting finale. There seems to be enough similarity that I'm thinking I'll give TAR a try this season.

I think that any relationship that can last through something like that is golden...I think my husband and I would be at each other's necks after the third day or so.

Yes, the places they go to usually feature the best part of that particular town, state, or country. It would have been interesting to be a player and travel to many places, yet the physical, mental, and emotional strain on the players must be huge. I like watching how the teams interact with the other teams. Some become friendly, some become enemies.

I know my husband and I would rip each other to shreds on that kind of a trip. We can't even do long weekends without fighting.

Amazing race seems like a tough race to join to if you are not physically, mentally and emotionally fit. It sure is funny seeing couples argue about their different opinions over a task and seeing their ups and downs and how they build their relationship.

I have watched every season of the Amazing Race and have enjoyed everyone of it. Tackle difficulties, share pride, quarrel with one another, the plot just keeps on getting better. I personally enjoyed watching the family edition, so far it was my favorite! Phil is right, you can choose your partner but you can't choose your family.

It sure does. I'm in awe of those people and what they go through. Beyond the sheer physical strength, it takes a lot of strength of will to do some of those things, too. Plus, they have to figure out how to get themselves to the oddest places. It's just incredible.
