I have to agree that it's important for those who can to try to bypass the bureaucratic red tape and get direct aid to those whose suffering is being prolonged by it.

Of course, that opens the doors for all the scammers and opportunists. One advantage of the bureacracies is that they are accountable on some level anyway.

When we find appeals like this one, it's important to do our homework and make sure we're not funding some scammers lifestyle.

It would be really great for those who exercise the due diligence on sites like this to post the details, although, really we each have to do our own before donating to unknown entities.
