Calling all Concerned Americans
We are centralizing hurricane emergency support resources at: http://www.livewire.fm Meeting of Minds message board.
ADD YOUR INFORMATION TO OUR NEW JOBS BOARD AND SHELTER DATABASES!! This is vital information! Click on the links at the top of our message board!
Let's not lose momentum!
People are posting with offers for housing, transportation, donations of goods, and support services all over the internet.
The Red Cross, and all other Emergency Responders are not interfacing with individuals or unauthorized groups, so we need to form and organize our
own grassroots efforts on our own that will take up the slack on what the large organizations are not doing.

LIVEWIRE.FM IS getting the information coordinated in a central locations, identifying leaders and their projects, and putting them together with volunteers.
We are also hosting readable permanent threads for information sharing that do not disappear as the information keeps coming.
Please crosspost information from boards like NOLA, AOL, and Craig's list that don't remain static to this location:

If you have an up and running project, please post it! We have volunteers looking for assignments!
If you are a volunteer, please check with a project coordinator, or post your available skills and resources.
If you want to coordinate a project, we have identified a number that still need to be organized.
If you are a group, or are a volunteer for a relief effort group, please post your details!!
We need organizers, moderators, good hearts, and good minds. If you only have time to donate, you are needed!
The faster we move, the sooner we can relieve someone's suffering.
