We are a town of 6,000 and are expecting about 150 families. We are in need of everything! Ronda

Why would someone contact you to help a town?

Posts like this should include details. Shelter contact information, etc. that will connect interested parties with those coordinating aid.

Contacting individuals is the least preferred way to go. It is not recommended.

If you want to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina but do not know where to begin, here is a short comprehensive list I have compiled to assist with your efforts. It is a place to START, not a complete list or a place to STOP...but it will get you started. Register with the appropriate organizations so that they know what equipment, resources, or manpower you have available and they can utilize the same in a more effective manner. Please feel free to redistribute this list!

Check my MSN Space frequently for updates to this list!

Please feel free to contact me if you need further information.

Thank you kindly and hugs to all!
