Thanks hearts!

I did a quick check on this group, because the personal address provided as a drop off point raised some questions.

I did call the group headquarters in Utah, and ascertained that the contact information is correct according to the person I spoke to. The provided address is a volunteer location to get needed supplies closer to the effected areas.

Somewhere on the site it's stated that they have photos of rescued animals, but I couldn't find them. The person I spoke to recommended that we speak directly to the command post for the group which is at the Utah headquarters to find out where that information is, and if needed, how we can facilitate making it available.

The switchboard number is: (435) 644-2001 and calls will be routed to the appropriate location through there, if anyone is up for calling them and getting more information, on what they are doing, how we can support them, and if and how we can get the photos posted, if they are not already posted somewhere.

Please all, take a few minutes to exercise due diligence on each of these groups before contributing or helping get information out.

As with this group, there should be someone available to speak to who is willing to answer reasonable questions and validate information.

Just think how easy it would be for someone to crosspost this message after having changed email or the drop off location address to their own. I'm not trying to give anyone ideas, but I'm quite sure the professional scammers don't need my advice.

Let's remain vigilant!!
