This list is provided by someone who is on the ground at the Houston Astrodme. She has confirmed what I have faced also- Red Cross is NOT the only place to voulnteer in town and in fact aren't doing nearly as much as the smaller, lesser known organizations. Nothing wrong with that- they are in place 24/7. But I havent been helped by them... so I'm thinking of contacting these other organizations.
