Chadwick's is offering a free 3-piece travel bag set until october 13th with ANY purchase. It's a lady's set with a travel bag, tote bag, and beauty case.

The cheapest item is a $10 built-in bra cami ($15 after shipping)

Go to chadwicks.com
- before checking out use the 'order from catalog' ature (top left corner of the page) to enter item code: 2154-30383-183 blue code 963-549262 (free travel set)

I am not 100% on this one, it may be a one-person deal, but I have not done this so if anyone else wants to go ahead :). I'll look for more give-aways like this that are not so complicated :)

Pass the set on to anyone in a shelter, en route to somewhere else, donate for survivors.

Jocinda,

Good idea. If there's anyone else out there with these offers please pass them along.

Ps. I'm going fishing for similar offers. Will keep you posted.

That is a great idea. I'll scout for some deals like that too.

I often find amazing bargains on clothing, bedding, and accessories at Ross and Marshalls also.

A few dollars can go a long way on the super mark down shelves where there's not usually anything wrong with the merchandise, just end of season, or whatever.

The biggest problem is where to send the stuff.

Our community has chosen to get involved in a local church project to adopt some families who will be provided with housing complete with all the necessities, so our donations of goods are very specific to household items, furnishings, etc.

I feel better about that than the original plan to rent a truck and run around the neighborhood collecting "stuff". Sounded like a plan for some people to clear out their junk to me.

But this Chadwick's idea made me think that I'd like to fill a box with necessary toiletries, and maybe not so necessaries. Maybe some make-up or a nice cologne would pick up someone's spirits.

I guess I'll call some of the shelters on our database and see if I can find one that will accept a shipment. I hear that some are just sending them on to the major Red Cross dumps, and who knows where they go from there!

Thanks for the great idea, jocinda!
