I have to say, I hate it. all the yelling she does, and the way she talks to the audience like they are a bunch of preschoolers is way too much for me. I think she is trying to be the new Oprah.

I'm still trying to find it! What network is it on, and what time of day? I suppose I could do a google search, huh?? :D

All I know is that I recently discovered that little Rachael holds some mighty appeal for a certain segment of the male population! Hmmmmm!! Could it be the tantalizing way she says "Yummo"???? :woohoo:

The screaming and talking down doesn't sound too promising. I've had to struggle with those tendencies on her 30 Minute Meals show so I can only imagine that she might get out of control with nothing else to busy herself but that slightly oversized mouth of hers!!

Oh well, another hopeful superstar, let's see how she pulls it off!

Oh my dear friend, seems the "Gods" are on her side. The great "O" is one of her backers. Go figure.

I can figure, Big O wants to make more money! What can I say but "YUMMO!!" :toot:

I keep hearing about the show and how martha stewart is nervous about it. Martha's show is boring! she has the dryest personality ive ever seen. I dont think she is mean or anything just really dry.

I like her show so far. She is upbeat and I like the way she talks too.

I was never able to get enthusiastic about Rachel Ray. Personality is nice but she's so bouncy it's tiring. And you're right, she does talk down to people. It's annoying to begin with but unaccpetable in somebody who's younger than much of her audience.

So far her show is pretty good she has an interesting mix of guests...but she is REALLY perky! Kind of annoying.

Wow, I haven't even heard of this show yet! From this thread, I assume it's a talk show and not just another food show. Interesting.

Her show isn't just another food show. I guessed that she wants her show to be different and all. I heard that she is beating Martha Stewart in the ratings.

Well, I finally caught one of her shows. As much as I enjoy her shows on food network, I can't say that I was overly impressed. Maybe it was just a bad day? :-) She took someone up one floor on an elevator and she sent her friend into someone's closet to clean it out. Hmmm....

I might be the minority, but I enjoy her new show. I like the combination of cooking and real world stuff like problems with decorating, children, fashion, etc.

I'd gladly watch RR everyday over Martha, even though it's the same type of show. Martha is just too boring and has no personality.

I liked her better in 30-minute meals, because I think she's a bit too loud in the new show. I miss Rachael Ray just trying to cook and be witty about cooking. The variety of coverage she does on the show is just a little too disconcerting.
