Speckledbird & all,
I just rec'd a call from the traveling women volunteers that safely arrived in NOLA, Winn-Dixie (WD). They resolved their flat tire on I-10 and made camp fine. Busy walking dogs & cleaning cages.
Their request for supplies & update on Sammy/Tim:
I spoke for 2 minutes w/ Sammy yesterday. He had to borrow a cell phone to call. His new cell, donated by Livewire.fm should arrive today or tomorrow via USPS at:

FRIG...........I was just told from a source in WInn-Dixie Parking Lot animal shelter that a refrigerator, even a tiny one is needed to store veterinary supplies.
Parvo Test Kits............They need Parvo test kits, available from vets for some puppies inparticular and others.
