Pitts, Laurie (ISaveNow) & Rich need help-Winn Dixie:

I would email them & phone them too. I do not have health details although, some are most likely heartworm positive. I would just solicit for help & see where we get without bringing up health issues. We will work out health issues after we get a dialogue going with a group.

I am still working on big money for transport so, tell them:

1. 30 pitties need fostering
2. If they have no means of transport we will transport to them
3. Be sure you get names, numbers & addresses

Even if a group could take a few, list them, & dont make any promises until transport issues are solved.

Tell them I will confirm the arrangement, travel dates, etc.
please give them my number if they will take dogs.

Karen, SpeckledBird at Livewire.FM has already emailed a letter to teh below listed groups. A follow-up call to them and a volunteer to make it happen is needed.

Who can help? Know anyone who can?

Thanks!

We, at Livewire have been working on trying to get a good sense of the current animal shelter situation in the US. At this time it ssems it may have reached a saturation point.

I know this is an old post but just wanted to add that there are still MANY displaced animals from hurricane Katrina in need of homes!
