MECHANIC NEEDED
Richard needs a mechanic to come down & replace a head gasket on a 1987 Ford F150 Econoline Van. It has a straight 6. It is blowing white smoke. If someone could come down & fix this van they will need to bring a new gasket and their own tools to do the job.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Sammy, a Hero!!
I just sent this out in an email and thought I'd post the whole message here:
Just spoke w/ Sammy in NOLA, currently part time Winn Dixie rescuer, when he can. For several weeks when I talk to him he sounds alittle sad. FYI: Sammy & I just have a platonic friendship as fellow animal rescuers....We shared a tent, like brother & sister.
Sammy is a very good guy. He is honest, blunt, giving, loves animals & gifted rescuer. He DID NOT like Mark nor the bad things he saw at WD so he got to avoiding some of those people. He did his own thing. THEN, due to Livewire.fm supporting Sammy & other crap, Mark verally jumped on sammy several times about donations, who's in charge, etc. I imagine that Sammy was given a bad name by some of the worshippers at/for WD by Mark's mouth.
Understandably, Sammy did not feel welcomed, had to take a temporary construction job for some $ and moved 2 blocks west to the Baptist Seminary compound. He did do some recon/info gathering on WD for us during Mark's last few days, such as animal count, etc. That was when we were not getting much or inaccurate info about WD via mark & shannon.
So, Sammy may of been considered a spy. Too bad...His main goal is animals welfare. Today, he is wondering if he is ok w/ the new, IMPROVED WD operation/leader Rich. He said, "It looks like it is running alot better under Rich's leadership...clean...doing the right things for the animals..."
So, can we get the message to Rich that Sammy is a good guy, damn honest and has many animal skills. And maybe some of WD can welcome him in w/ open arms and give him a kiss or two.
What do you say? Sammy is a hero of the common man, I think. And especially to Pitts & rotts!
Real Story: Sammy was rescuing a pitt w/ a broken leg. He did not want to use a hard leash and drag dog so...he bent over and gently body hugged that wounded pitt. Well, the pitt naturally responded by biting Sammy on the throat!!! Sammy continued to carry him and they became friends. Sammy understood the dog was just scared & hurt.
Sammy works 6 days a week construction but can answer phone during day if he has it on him. Even tho he has a cell case and good clip, sometimes if running at work he has to remove cell from him to keep it safe. I understand, working in construction myself.
I'm gonna post some of this info at WD. I suppose I'll now get accused of sleeping w/ sammy but that is ok. He is single and an honorable man.
His new cell:
Only has an AC (home) charger. Just last night got an extension cord, tho I left him 2 brand new ones at WD. He needs a DC charger. NIco, what model phone does he have?
He said tonight w/ ext cord for light, he will read book and get voice mail set up. He won't ask no one to do it for him (too proud or don't wanna bother a busy person?) or call, probably 611*. Wonder if we can get his new carrier to do it for him---what's the service? I forgot.
Bye, Pam
