Donations coming from NJ

I have a small retail business in Central NJ. I have set up a donation jar and plan on making weekly runs to the bank to send out money orders. I was wondering if there are TARGETED charities set up yet for the hundreds of thousands of refugees. I will be making the donations in the meantime to the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund. thanks !

Please check the shelter database link at the top of the page and see if you can connect directly with a shelter that has need.

Also, check threads where information is posted about specific needs, and just take care that you are contributing to a valid source where the funds will go directly to those in need.


We are trying to check out these requests to the best of our ability, but we all must do the same before sending our donations.
